Peugeot – original new old stock 1990s Manhattan Windsor keychain with rectangular badge

A superb original new old stock Peugeot keychain produced by Manhattan Windsor of Birmingham which we would think will have been produced in the 1990s – towards the end of Manhattan Windsor’s production .

We have just this one keychain to offer with this rectangular badge which is one of only two original examples of a Manhattan Windsor Peugeot keychain which we have ever seen and listed – the other one has an oval badge and is currently listed ( unless now sold )

Manhattan Windsor of Birmingham have become recognised as being the premier manufacturer of the finest British automotive keyrings ever produced – sadly they closed their doors some time ago having produced keyrings for over 30 years .

They were always associated with producing traditional keyrings with leather keyfobs – this keychain and a few keychains for other makes of vehicle which we received with it are the only Manhattan Windsor keychains which we have ever seen and listed .

They could be one-offs which never made it as regular production items – they cannot have made many as otherwise we would have seen other examples before.

This Peugeot keychain is in new old stock condition with a heavy nickel plated badge linked to the splitring via a similarly plated chain .

The reverse of the badge is marked with Manhattan Windsor’s name .

This keychain has never been used and measures 3.75″ ( 95mm ) in total length .

From the late 1950s until the 1990s almost all keyrings and keychains for the world’s cars were produced in England – it was quite an industry .

Sadly almost all car keyrings are now produced overseas and are generally not of the quality of this keychain .

The keychain in the photos is the actual one which you will receive and could be used with any Peugeot car of the period or as a retro keychain with a later car .
