Peugeot - original vintage new old stock late 1960s/ early 1970s Heath Machin keyring - collector's item

An original Peugeot keyring which will have been produced in the late 1960s or early 1970s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This is the only completely original Heath Machin Peugeot keyring still with it’s original leather keyfob which we have ever listed although we have seen similar keyrings made by them for other prestige marques like Mercedes Benz & Jaguar .

This keyring is in excellent new old stock condition with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine dove grey leather with contrasting white stitching- a very upmarket keyring for the 1960s and early 1970s !

The ‘ P’ of ‘ PEUGEOT ‘ on the badge has been partially obscured by blue enamel – at that time the vitreous enamel was often still hand laid and things like this did happen !

The reverse of the badge is marked ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ – at that time almost all car keyrings were produced in England – it was quite an industry .

Made by Heath Machin of Walsall in England who were producers of small leather goods and keyrings and carried out leatherwork for other keyring manufacturers like Melsom Products Ltd of Birmingham & Premier of London at the time.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive and will be original & correct for any 1960s or 1970s Peugeot motor car .
