Plymouth - original vintage 1960s keyring

An original Plymouth keyring which will have been produced in the 1960s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This keyring is in very good condition ( apart from the leather keyfob colour having faded )  with a vitreous enamel on gilt badge mounted onto a keyfob in ( faded ) golden tan genuine leather .

The vitreous enamel has a small ‘fisheye’ depression in the black enamel which will have been there since the badge was made – this can be seen in the enlarged high resolution photos .

The back of the badge is marked ‘MP ‘ – we would think that this represents Manhattan Products before that Co. became Manhattan Windsor .

The leather keyfob will originally have been in a golden tan colour but this has faded over the years – the original colour can be seen beneath the badge in the listing photos .

There is a staple mark in the leather on the back of the keyfob – this is where the brass rivet securing the badge has been crimped .
