An original Porsche keyfob badge which we would think will have been produced in the late 1960s or early 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .

Just this one keyring to offer with this badge – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

The vitreous enamel badge on this keyring has virtually perfect vitreous enamel – the only flaw is that the nickel plating on the stallion has some wear .

This cannot really be seen with the naked eye when viewed at lifesize but can be seen in the enlarged high resolution photos .

Some slight wear to the nickel plating at the base of the reverse of the badge – we would commonly expect to see this on a badge of this age.

Original circa 50 year old Porsche keyfob badges like this one hardly ever appear still complete with their original keyfobs after all these years .

Porsche cars tended to be driven and accordingly the keyrings received a lot of use with the leather keyfobs eventually wearing out over the years.

We have listed comparatively few complete original vintage 1960s/ early 1970s  Porsche keyrings still with their original leather keyfobs .

The top section of this badge containing ‘ PORSCHE ‘ is in solid white enamel .

This white top section was discontinued around 1972 or 1973 coinciding with the introduction of the impact bumper 911s .

Over the last 2 years original Porsche keyrings & badges have risen in value as visitors to this Porsche keyring section will be well aware.

So here is an original late 1960s/ early 1970s vitreous enamel Porsche keyfob badge in very good condition and now remounted onto a new keyfob in specially selected full grain black leather with a lovely grain which will be ‘good for use ‘ for very many years into the future without the worry of the original leather keyfob wearing out.

The quality of the vitreous enamelling on this badge is outstanding – jewellery quality – and the badge is marked ‘MADE In ENGLAND ‘ on the reverse …………..not a statement often seen nowadays .

In the 1960s & 1970s almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were produced in England ( it was quite an industry ) but with Porsche cars being rare on British roads at that time hardly any British manufacturers bothered to make Porsche keyrings .

Those few that did bother didn’t make them in large numbers.

It was much later before Porsche began to have their own keyrings produced in Germany.

This badge is original & correct for use with any late 1960s or 1970s Porsche motor car.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
