Home / Online Shop / Porsche – original vintage 1980s? dealership keyring ( repaired & re-stitched )
1 in stock
An original Porsche UK dealership keyring which we would think will have been issued in the 1980s – possibly late 1970s.
This keyring came to us with a damaged leather badge strap – the thin leather strap which retains the badge to the keyfob .
In order to replace this with a new leather strap we had to un-do the stitching around the perimeter of the keyfob – this has been re-stitched by hand although you would most probably not have noticed if we hadn’t told you !
We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
Now repaired & re-stitched :- this keyring is in very good condition with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather .
The reverse of the keyfob is gold embossed with the supplying dealer’s details although these have now become so feint that they are difficult to read ( Charles Follett Ltd of London )
The vitreous enamel badge is in superb condition with the top section of the crest in white enamel .
It is generally agreed that this relates to pre-1972 cars but manufacturers of keyrings often tended to carry on using the earlier badge for some years after Porsche had discontinued representing the top section in white .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive – a particularly relevant keyring to place with a car known to have passed through this dealership at the time .
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason or cancel your order – a full refund will be given.
