Porsche – original vintage 1980s keyring with burgundy leather keyfob .

An original Porsche keyring which will probably have been produced in the 1980s or possibly the early 1990s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer  – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

Over the years we have listed similar Porsche keyrings to this one and usually they are in well worn condition .

It is over a year since we last listed one and this one is in very good used condition .

These are the keyrings which many Porsche cars of the 1980s were driven with – the slightly earlier and very much rarer British made equivalent of the very well known German made  ‘Heubach’ hinged badge keyring generally on offer .

The gilt plated badge with vitreous enamel detail is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine burgundy coloured leather with the characteristic padding within the leather fob which Porsche keyrings are still known for .

The badge is in very good condition with all the vitreous enamel present & correct – just a few very tiny ‘dings’ at the edges.

The leather keyfob is very well padded – almost like a little leather pillow – which is how these keyrings were padded.

The burgundy leather is well worn in and has that lovely polished patina of a leather keyfob which has travelled a good many miles in the car and also in the owner’s pocket – which is where they tend to get polished !

This is how many owners ( and us ) prefer to see a leather keyring – all the hard work has been done for you !

Quite a dimple in the centre of the reverse of the leather keyfob – this must have constantly been in contact with something in the car as the keyring was in use .
