An original vintage Porsche keyring which will have been produced in the 1980s.

An original Porsche keyring which will have been produced in the 1980s.

The keyring is in excellent condition with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine burgundy  hide.

We have listed a few Porsche keyrings like this one over the years but this is the first one for a couple of years .

It is quite rare for  these keyrings to have survived so well after over 30 years  – they did tend to get used .

The vitreous enamel badge is in mint condition .

The burgundy leather keyfob is also in excellent condition and is made of ‘corrected grain’ leather which is not much used nowadays.

The natural top layer of the leather with the grain has been removed to leave a leather without grain but with an enhanced degree of ‘character’  as can be seen in the photos.

There is some ‘padding’ within the keyfob – many Porsche keyrings had this .

This keyring will have been made in England – almost certainly in Birmingham by one of the smaller manufacturers who did not mark the reverse of the badge with their details.

Original & correct for any late 1970s or 1980s Porsche including 911SC , 911 3.2 Carrera, 924, 944 & 928 .
