This guitar is not strictly speaking a vintage guitar as it was built in 2008 – but instruments of this quality will most certainly become vintage guitars in the future .

Additionally they can only appreciate in value as guitars are one of the few commodities which younger generations are growing to appreciate and will value in the future .

These guitars were only produced in USA between 2008 & 2009 – so are quite rare .

PRS quality is legendary and needs no further comment .

This guitar is all original and in really excellent condition as can be seen from the photos .

Hollowbody standards were new for 2008 and had a mahogany top rather than maple which the singlecut Hollowbody 1 had .

The only significant mark on the guitar is a tiny chip on the corner of the headstock – have included a photo of this .

Apart from that there is nothing to report .

Colour is vintage cherry and the grain of the mahogany shows through beautifully – probably the photos do not actually do the lovely colour justice .

Body & neck are in mahogany with an Indian rosewood fingerboard with abalone birds .

Neck is the standard PRS wide neck carve with 22 frets .

Tuners are PRS’s own 14:1 low mass locking tuners and the bridge is their adjustable stoptail .

The guitar is very light weighing just 5.5 lbs but still feels substantial in your hands and despite the light body is very well balanced – not neck heavy at all .

Nut width is 42mm .

SC 245 treble & bass humbucker pickups and electrics all in good working order .

Original hardcase although the tolex covering has some damage as can be seen in the photos .

2 keys for the case lock which works as intended .

Located 10 miles north of Boston Lincolnshire – postcode PE23 and would welcome any buyer who would like to try the guitar before buying .

Have simply collected together rather too many guitars over the years and the time has come to to thin them out a bit .
