R.F.O.Ltd - original early 1960s? keychain badge mounted onto a replacement snakechain

An original keychain badge which we would think will have been produced in the early 1960s which we have attached to a replacement snakechain .

We have just this one keychain to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

An attractive badge in brass or possibly gunmetal which came to us some time back without a keychain – so we have attached a replacement keychain as can be seen in the photos .

The ‘ new ‘ keychain is itself an original new old stock item possibly 30 years old………..sadly in nickel plated finish as we do not have a replacement one in brass finish .

The badge measures 1.4″ x 0.8″ ( 35mm x 21mm ) and depicts a stylised vintage car .

We were rather hoping to find out who R.F.O. Ltd were before listing the badge – but no information has currently come to light .

We would think that they will have been car related ………..hopefully one of our customers will read this and let us know .

The std London 01 telephone number appears on the badge .

These 01 numbers began to be issued in 1958 – so we know that the badge does not pre-date 1958 .

A most attractive ‘period’ keychain which could actually be used in any car of the period despite R.F.O. Ltd remaining a mystery for now .
