Rambler - original vintage 1980s keyring

An original Rambler keyring which will most probably have been produced in the 1980s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring is in very good condition with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob gold embossed with the genuine leather symbol ……………but this keyfob is actually in very good quality imitation leather although you will have to examine it very closely to be sure that it is not genuine leather !

This was common practice in the 1970s & 1980s before trades descriptions legislation had grown teeth .

Both keyfob and badge are marked ‘ MADE IN ENGLAND ‘ – at that time almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were made in England – it was quite an industry .

An excellent quality British made keyring produced before standards started to decline and then production finally moved overseas .
