Range Rover – original 1970s keyring with acrylic badge and genuine leather keyfob

An original Classic Range Rover keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1970s.

We have just this one keyring to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

Keyrings like this one are relatively rare items because they were ‘budget’ keyrings and were soon discarded when they became worn out or when the owner changed their car .

Very few have survived after over 40 years.

The example in this listing is in excellent condition .

The keyring has an acrylic badge bonded onto a plated metal mount which is in turn mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather- embossed ‘ FINE – TOP GRAIN LEATHER ‘ .

‘ Fine ‘ will be the Company which produced these keyrings – we have seen similar examples for other makes of car .

During the 1970s there will have been a market for high quality keyrings for using with Range Rover cars although we have seen very few examples of high quality keyrings for Range Rovers over the years .

At the same time there was a market for a cheaper keyring like this one probably for use with everyday driver cars – of which there were plenty before early Range Rovers became the classics which they are today .
