We have only seen 3 or 4 original period Jensen keyrings over the last 10 years – very few were ever made at the time.
This one was obviously bought at the time and then never used for one reason or another – probably left in a drawer with the spare keys on it and then forgotten about when the car was eventually sold only to come to light decades later.
The vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a genuine full grain black leather keyfob with ‘TOP GRAIN LEATHER’ in gold emboss.
Made in the 1960s by the famous Manhattan Windsor Co. of Birmingham whose inverted M over W logo is cast into the back of the badge.
In the 1960s Manhattan Windsor made all of Aston Martin’s keyrings and keyrings for many other British car manufacturers as well .
