Original Vintage & Restored Leather Keyrings for Classic Cars & Motorcycles

Reliant Robin - original vintage 1970s acrylic badge keyring

NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered

An original vintage Reliant keyring which will have been produced in the 1970s.

When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This is the only example of this type which we have ever seen and is an original 1970s Reliant Robin keyring which will have been made by Renamel of Kilburn High Road, London at the time.

Renamel were the only Company making these acrylic badged keyrings – and the acrylic badges have lasted as well as more conventional vitreous enamel badges.

The keyring is in very good condition with the badge mounted onto a keyfob marked ‘Real Leather’ – but is not real leather !

The keyfob is in faux leather and this deception was commonplace in the 1970s before trades descriptions legislation grew teeth.

Del Boy Trotter would have been proud of Renamel for passing the keyring off as being in real leather !

This keyring is a rare example of what was actually being used in Reliant Robins at the time.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.

When it has been sold  this listing will be cancelled. SMOSO   59/92   12/22
