Reliant Scimitar – new vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a new leather keyfob

A new Reliant keyfob badge which will have been produced a few years ago in Birmingham which we have mounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .

The  Reliant Scimitar vitreous enamel badge mounted onto this keyring is based on the original Scimitar enamel keyfob badge design .

We have seen original examples from the time in four different enamel colour schemes :- black & white, black & blue, black & yellow & black & red

This particular badge is in yellow & black vitreous enamel and has probably been produced from the original badge die .

Modern reproduction badges will now probably be produced in modern resin based enamel rather than the vitreous enamel which this badge has been produced in.
