An original vintage Renault  keyring which dates from the late 1960s or early 1970s.

New old stock – and in excellent condition having been in storage since it was made.

Made at the time by Melsom Products Ltd of Birmingham – their details are cast into the back of the badge .

In the 1960s Melsom Products made keyrings for most makes of car ( British, American & European ) and these were exported worldwide – it was quite an industry.

The badge is in jewellery grade vitreous enamel on chrome and is mounted onto a genuine leather keyfob in black leather.

The vitreous enamel was hand laid at that time and there is a tiny flaw in the yellow enamel within the Renault logo on the badge – this can be seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos.

A top quality British made product made at a time when manufacturing standards of many products were beginning to decline rapidly.

Original & correct for use with any 1960s Renault motor car- how many of those cars remaining will now be driven with a completely original keyring like this one ?
