Rolls Royce - original vintage new old stock 1960s dealership CUD torpedo keyring - collector's item

An original vintage Rolls Royce keyring which will have been produced in the 1960s .

When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This keyring is in new old stock mint condition and has obviously never been used since it was supplied with a Rolls Royce motor car  over 50 years ago.

Most probably attached to the spare key which remained unused at the back of a drawer and only recently coming to light.

The nickel plated badge has black vitreous enamel detail and is mounted onto a torpedo keyfob in genuine full grain black leather which is actually goatskin which at the time was known as ‘Morocco leather’.

Many of CUD’s torpedo keyfobs were supplied in ‘Morocco leather’  which has a distinctive ‘pebbly’ texture as can be seen in the listing photos.

The back of the keyfob is gold embossed with the supplying dealership details- none more famous than this one .

This keyring would have been supplied with a Rolls Royce motor car supplied by this dealership at that time.

No maker’s mark is visible but the keyring was made by  CUD ( Castle Unit Developments of Castle Gate Leicester ) No other manufacturers at the time were producing torpedo design keyrings .

The quality of CUD’s products is already legendary and they produced these torpedo keyrings up until the late 1960s.

A superb original keyring correct in every way for use with any 1960s Rolls Royce motor car and especially if that car was know to have been supplied from this dealership.
