Rolls Royce - original vintage new old stock late 1950s/early 1960s CUD torpedo keyring with red vitreous enamel badge - collector's item

Original vintage Rolls Royce CUD torpedo keyrings which will have been produced in the late 1950s or early 1960s .

When these keyrings have been sold this listing will be cancelled .

We have recently received these original Rolls Royce torpedo keyrings which were produced in the late 1950s or early 1960s.

The torpedo keyrings in this listing have red vitreous enamel badges and we are also listing similar keyrings from the same source with black enamel badges ( unless now sold )

These keyrings are new old stock and have been in storage for around 60 years !

Goodness knows how these things can remain hidden away for a lifetime finally emerging 60 years after they were made.

The keyrings are in mint condition having never been used. – and the contrast of a red enamel badge on a black keyfob just cannot be bettered.

The nickel plating on the badges is perfect & the translucent red vitreous enamelling is as fresh as the day it was fired almost 60 years ago.

The badges are mounted onto torpedo keyfobs in genuine black leather embossed ‘Real Morocco Made in England’

‘Morocco’ was a term used for goatskin at the time and the fine grained pebbly texture of the leather shows that this leather is indeed goatskin.

No maker’s mark is visible but the keyrings were made by  CUD ( Castles Unit Developments of Castle Gate Leicester )

No other badgemakers at the time were producing torpedo design keyrings .

The quality of CUD’s products is already legendary.

Superb original keyrings correct in every way for use with any 1950s or 1960s Rolls Royce motor car.

How many more of these Rolls Royce torpedo keyrings have survived in this condition ?

Probably only the ones that we have listed here.
