Rover 3500 SD1 - original 1970s Manhattan Windsor keyfob badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Rover 3500 SD1 keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1970s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

Just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

We have just this one example of this badge which is only the 3rd example of this badge( one was still attached to the original leather keyfob ) which we have ever seen and listed .

This heavy brass badge is in very good condition and would originally have been mounted onto a leather keyfob with ‘UNIPART – MADE IN ENGLAND’ embossed on the back -but the original keyfob has disappeared – presumably the badge broke away from it and the leather keyfob was then discarded .

Unipart revolutionised the British automotive aftermarket in the 1970s.

The badge was made by the famous Manhattan Windsor Co. of Birmingham whose details are on the back of the badge.

This badge is original & correct for  1976 onwards Rover 3500 SD1 .
