An original Rover keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1950s or early 1960s which has been remounted onto a later keyfob by others at a later stage .

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

The badge on this keyring does have surface wear and the surface of the vitreous enamel has dulled with wear but apart from that it is in good condition .

The leather keyfob is in new condition .

The vitreous enamel badge on this keyring was produced in the late 1950s or early 1960s by the well known badgemakers AVON CLIFF and is marked as such .

The badge has been remounted onto a later keyfob in genuine dark tan leather probably in the 1980s .

This is quite common – where the original badgemaker had gone out of business and their stock of unsold badges had passed to another keyring manufacturer who then mounted the badges onto keyfobs often many years later .
