Rover – vitreous enamel badge in new condition remounted onto a new leather keyfob ( SLIGHT 2nd )

This particular keyring is a slight 2nd and is offered at a reduced price .

If you look carefully at the enlarged high resolution photos you will notice a tiny speck of bright nickel plating missing from the badge at 4 o’clock on the face of the badge . 

You would hardly notice when viewed in the hand at life size ………….we didn’t when making the keyring – only noticing when we took the photos !!

A Rover keyfob badge which will have been produced within the last 10 or 15 years which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

Superb quality badges like this one in ‘old school’ vitreous enamel were still produced in Birmingham until relatively recently for the classic car market .

Sadly all that has now changed with almost all car keyrings and badges now being produced in the Far East with modern resin based enamel badges – not vitreous enamel like this one .

‘ MADE IN ENGLAND’ marked on the back of the badge which will almost certainly have been produced in Birmingham .

Modern resin enamel badges will no longer be marked MADE IN ENGLAND as they are no longer produced in England .

This is NOT an original 1960s or 1970s keyfob badge – it was produced much later .

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

We have remounted the badge onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather as can be seen in the photos .
