1 in stock
An original new old stock Royal Enfield keyring which will have been produced in the late 1950s.
We have just this one keyring to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .
A very rare original Royal Enfield keyring in genuine pigskin leather – and what a superb item of historical interest this keyring is .
We have only ever seen one other example of this keyring………..in September 2020 we listed and sold a similar example in used & fragile condition which we listed as ‘ For Sunday use only’ !
The keyring in this listing is in brand new old stock condition and has obviously never been used – it is quite remarkable how keyrings in this condition still crop up .
This keyring must have been at the back of a drawer for all these years only coming to light recently .
The nickel plated vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine tan pigskin leather .
Pigskin was ( and is ) a most upmarket material and rarely used for keyfobs apart from occasional keyrings commissioned by the likes of Aston Martin & Jaguar .
The keyring was made by Sculthorp & Co Ltd of London who specialised in producing keyrings for motorcycles in the 1950s and early 1960s – their details are cast into the back of the badge.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive – £95 is a lot of money to pay for any keyring but reflects what we have to pay to put a collector’s item like this into stock .
You are buying an item of Royal Enfield history which could be the only one left in this condition anywhere – and as such it is priceless.
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason or cancel your order – a full refund will be given.
