£45.00
An original St. Christopher keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1950s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.
Just this one keyring to offer with this badge – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
This vitreous enamel badge is in very good condition ( apart from a small enamel chip at the base of the badge ) and we have remounted it onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather .
Made by Simons Concessionaires of London in the late 1950s – their details are cast into the reverse of the badge.
St. Christopher is of course the Patron Saint of travellers and can be seen on the badge carrying a young traveller safely across a river.
St. Christopher keyrings were very popular items in the 1950s & 1960s and were relatively common for use with cars .
This is the only example which we have ever seen of this particular shield shaped badge .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
