Seddon Diesel – original vintage late 1960s keyring by Fattorini of Birmingham – collector’s item

NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered but has been left on view as a rare example of an original Seddon keyring .

An original Seddon keyring which will have been produced in the mid to late 1960s .

Unsurprisingly we have just this one example of this scarce keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

What a superb historic item this keyring is – the only keyring for Seddon which we have ever listed over the years .

The keyring is in very good condition with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather .

The badge is in virtually mint condition in jewellery quality vitreous enamel with a stylised image of a Seddon truck .

The reverse of the badge reveals that the keyring was produced by the well respected Fattorini Co. of Barr Street Birmingham ( still trading today due to the excellence of their products )

Fattorini were more associated with producing top quality badges and keyrings for prestige cars such as Aston Martin & Jaguar …………and here is a keyring produced by them for a commercial truck which shows the enthusiasm which owners and drivers had for these vehicles as many still have today .

The badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather which is also in good serviceable condition after all these years and has become worn in like a comfortable pair of shoes.

This keyring has very many miles and very many dependable deliveries left in it yet .

After this keyring was produced in the 1960s, Seddon Diesel Vehicles Ltd of Oldham acquired Atkinson Vehicles of Preston in 1970 to form Seddon Atkinson .
