1 in stock
An original Singer Chamois torpedo keyring which will have been produced in the 1960s.
We have just this one example of this keyring to offer -when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .
This scarce keyring is in worn condition with a vitreous enamel badge mounted onto a genuine leather torpedo keyfob and will have been made by Castles Unit Developments of Leicester ( the famous CUD keyring Co. ) in the 1960s.
The vitreous enamelling in the badge is in good condition ( no chips ) but the enamel surface has become slightly worn & glazed.
The badge is rather loosely attached to the leather keyfob ( they often were ! )
The badge wobbles about but is not in any danger of becoming detached from the keyfob provided the keyring is not subjected to rough handling .
The torpedo leather keyfob itself is in sound and serviceable condition although rather bent which often happened to these torpedos – and is very well worn in like a comfortable pair of shoes.
The stitching & eyelet are in sound condition .
Many owners nowadays prefer a keyring which is not in new old stock perfection but has ‘ had a life ‘ which this one certainly has .
It is quite suitable for ‘weekend use ‘ in a car or to be placed in a collection as a very rare example of a Singer Chamois torpedo keyring – how many will still be around ?………very few .
This keyring is original & correct for 1964 – 1970 Singer Chamois.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
