Singer - original 1960s ' black spires' badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Singer keyfob badge which will have been produced in the 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

These old badges have stood the test of time incredibly well and the vitreous enamelling on this badge is in really excellent condition.

The badge was made in England at the time as almost all automotive keyrings and keyfob badges were – it was quite an industry.

Incredibly the names of 2 well known badgemakers from the time are marked on the back – CUD superimposed over SCHALL ( SC HALL ) !!

It would appear that the badge was actually made by SCHALL ( whose name we often see on the reverse of original 50 year old keyfob badges )

When SCHALL ceased trading CUD ( Castles Unit Development Co. of Leicester ) must have bought the remaining stock of their badges and then over-stamped them as their own .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive and is original & correct for use with any 1960s Singer motor car.
