An original Singer Owner’s Club keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1970s .
We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.
This is the only example of one of these keyrings which we have ever listed over the years .
This keyring is in mint new old stock condition – quite remarkable for a keyring which must be approaching 50 years old !
The acrylic dome badge is mounted onto a keyfob in black vinyl .
Vinyl was actually quite a common choice for car keyfobs in the 1960s and 1970s .
It was a particularly practical choice for convertible cars where there was a ( hopefully very slight ! ) chance of the keyring getting wet in a rain shower .
The acrylic badge will be one of the first ever produced as an alternative to the more traditional vitreous enamel badge usually seen on car keyrings of this age .
Acrylic badges had the very real advantage over vitreous enamel in that they didn’t chip or break when dropped onto a hard surface .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive
