An original Standard Triumph shield keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1950s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This vitreous enamel badge is in mint condition ( not bad for a 60+ year old badge ) and we have remounted it onto a new leather keyfob in full grain black leather .

Having concentrated on producing motorcycles – Triumph entered receivership in 1939 just as war started .

It was rescued by Standard Motor Co. and soon out-shone it’s rescuer with the new range of TR sports cars which took the world by storm .

Meanwhile the word ‘Standard’ began to mean just ‘regular’ or ‘basic’ in modern language !

This badge would be correct for use with Triumph Roadster , Renown & Mayflower – this keyring was produced a few years later than the cars themselves but owners  could have bought a similar keyring to use with their cars as keyrings with this badge became available .

Would also be correct for  TR2 & TR3 ( & TR3A ) – both of which had very few keyrings produced at the time specifically for TR2 & TR3 .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
