Standard Vanguard – original vintage 1950s ‘ Elsma’ keyring with pigskin leather keyfob

An original Standard Vanguard keyring which will have been produced in the 1950s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring is in very good condition considering it’s age .

The nickel plated ‘ T -bone’ badge has vitreous enamel detail and is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine tan pigskin leather .

This is connected to the key clasp by means of a decorative grey leather strap complete with brass buckle & keep .

Made in England by ‘Elsma’ – we have very occasionally seen other ‘Elsma’ keyrings for other makes of car particularly Jaguar .

It is an ”Elsma’ Jaguar keyring which Bud Marston has chosen to use on the front cover of his famous book on Vintage Jaguar Keyrings featured in our Jaguar section here in this website shop .

The key clasp is sprung mounted and opens when pressure is applied to it to allow the car key (s) to be fitted .
