An original Standard Vanguard keyring dating from the 1950s.
This design of keyring was what was used with the cars at the time – this is the 3rd example which we have seen and listed over the last few years.
The keyring is in good condition with a vitreous enamel on nickel plated badge mounted onto a leather strap with splitring attached. The leather is snakeskin embossed – a very stylish item for the austere mid 1950s !
The name of the original owner has been scratched onto the back of the badge – rather a nice original detail :- J.B.McCabe of Castlebar- the county town of County Mayo in Ireland.
We wonder how many of these keyrings have survived the last 60 years in this condition ?
The keyring is original & correct for use with any 1950s Standard Vanguard motor car.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
When it has been sold this listing will cancel.
