Subaru 4WD - original 1990s? acrylic dome badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Subaru 4WD keyfob badge which we would think will have been produced in the 1980s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

An original Subaru 4WD keyfob badge similar to those made by Renamel Ltd of Kilburn High Road, London .

The acrylic dome badge is in good condition and we have remounted it onto a new keyfob in full grain black leather .

This is the only Subaru 4WD keyfob badge which we have ever listed over the years – they are scarce .

Renamel were the first manufacturer to make keyrings with these acrylic badges which have lasted very well over the years and do have the advantage over the more traditional vitreous enamel badges in that they do not chip if dropped onto a hard concrete floor !

Other manufacturers then followed suit although they seldom marked their keyrings with their name ( we do not think that this badge was made by Renamel )
