Subaru – original 1980s/ 1990s acrylic dome badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

A couple of original Subaru keyfob badges which will have been produced in the 1980s or 1990s which we have remounted onto new leather keyfobs as can be seen in the photos .

We have just 2 keyrings with these badges to offer – when these have been sold this listing will be cancelled .

These acrylic dome badges are in excellent condition and we have remounted them onto new teardrop keyfobs in full grain black leather .

Renamel Ltd of Kilburn High Road , London ( they then moved to Honeypot Lane, London ) were the first manufacturer to make keyrings with these acrylic badges which have lasted very well over the years and do have the advantage over the more traditional vitreous enamel badges in that they do not chip if dropped onto a hard concrete floor !

Renamel’s earliest keyrings had ‘ made in england ‘ on the reverse of the badges .

Later on the reverse of their badges was left plain- the reverse of these badges is plain so we cannot be sure if they were made by Renamel as others copied Renamel and also produced acrylic dome badges although generally not of this quality . SMOSO  59/93    10/24
