Subaru – original vintage 1990s Renamel keyring with red & white acrylic badge mounted onto a keyfob in Navy blue leather

An original Subaru keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1990s .

We have just this one example of this keyring to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring is in new old stock condition with an acrylic dome badge mounted onto a keyfob in genuine Navy blue leather .

There is some unimportant tarnishing on the reverse of the badge which can be seen in the enlarged high resolution photos .

This can only be see when the badge is flipped up off the keyfob of course .

This keyring will have been produced by Renamel in their final Honeypot Lane London location shortly before they closed their doors .

Renamel had produced some of the first acrylic badged keyrings in the late 1970s & 1980s which had the very real advantage over traditional vitreous enamel badged keyrings in that the badge did not crack or break when dropped onto a hard surface .

Renamel’s original badges were marked ‘ RENAMEL made in England’ on the reverse but later badges like the one mounted onto this keyring were usually no longer marked although this particular keyring is marked ‘ MADE IN ENGLAND ‘ .

Renamel’s keyrings were almost always produced in imitation leather but this keyring is an exception as the keyfob is actually in genuine Navy blue leather .
