Sunbeam Alpine - original vintage new old stock 1960s Freeline keyring - badge damaged

An original new old stock Sunbeam Alpine keyring which will have been produced in the 1960s .

Just this one example with some damage to the badge to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring is in new old stock condition ( apart from some damage to the badge ) with a vitreous enamel badge in bright yellow & cobalt blue enamel mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather .

In the enlarged high resolution listing photos it can be seen that some of the nickel plating has disappeared from the badge detail and there is some slight damage to the vitreous enamel .

By the style of the ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ backstamp on the badge & the style of the leather keyfob we know that this keyring was made by Freeline of Bristol and is the only example for Sunbeam Tiger which we have ever listed .

Freeline’s keyrings had jewellery quality vitreous enamel badges mounted onto distinctive sharp shouldered keyfobs in a very good grade of genuine black leather .

They were a small concern compared to Melsom Products of Birmingham who were the main automotive keyring producer at the time .

Freeline produced a surprising range of keyrings but in relatively small numbers – so examples of their keyrings especially in mint condition like this one are few and far between .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive and is original & correct for use with 1959 -1968 Sunbeam Alpine .
