Sunbeam Talbot - original vintage 1950s new old stock Premier Badges keyring with tan pigskin leather keyfob - collector's item

An original Sunbeam Talbot keyring which will have been produced in the 1950s .

Just this one example to offer in tan pigskin – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This is only the 2nd example of this original keyring in tan pigskin which we have ever listed although we are currently listing another example in black pigskin ( unless now sold )

This keyring is new old stock & in mint condition apart from slight storage marks .

The vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine tan pigskin leather – a very up-market item for the time.

Made by Premier Badges Ltd of London who were one of the very few makers of automotive keyrings in the 1950s.

Keyrings for cars were first produced from the mid 1950s onwards – this keyring will have been produced after the final Sunbeam Talbot 90 was made.

In the mid 1950s there were plenty of Sunbeam Talbot 80s & 90s in daily use on the roads – all in need of keyrings.

This keychain badge will be original & correct for use with Sunbeam Talbot 80 & 90 – whilst it dates from a few years later than the cars themselves :- owners would probably have bought one of these keychains to use with their car as keychains and keyrings became available after the mid 1950s .
