Sunbeam Talbot - original vintage late 1950s/ early 1960s keyring by Grange Products

An original Sunbeam Talbot keyring which will have been produced in the late 1950s or early 1960s .

When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This is an original keyring dating from the 1950s which was produced by Grange Products of London .

The keyring is in good condition and the vitreous enamel badge is really excellent .

The badge is mounted onto a keyfob in rather low-grade genuine black leather – perfectly serviceable but maybe not as good quality leather as you would find on other keyrings of the period .

The badge has Grange Products of London details on the reverse – although the badge is identical to those made by Sculthorp of London.

It may be that Sculthorps had closed and Grange Products had bought their badge dies and carried on making the badges but with their own details on the reverse .

The nickel plated badge is in excellent condition with translucent red vitreous enamelling .

As with all Sunbeam Talbot badges of this design it would appear that one of the ‘scrolls’ on the base of the badge is missing – but not so – they were all like this !

If you look carefully you will see that the other corresponding  scroll is above the letters ‘SU’ of Sunbeam Talbot.

This keyring will be original & correct for use with Sunbeam Talbot 80 or 90.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive and a very scarce example of an original Sunbeam Talbot keyring from the time .
