Original vintage Toyota keyrings which will have been produced in the 1970s.

When all these keyrings have been sold this listing will be cancelled.

We have just a few of these spectacular and very scarce original vintage Toyota keyrings which will date from the 1970s.

They are new old stock and have never been used – hence their condition is virtually mint.

The nickel plated vitreous enamel badges are mounted onto black keyfobs.

They were made by Melsom Products Ltd of Birmingham at the time – Melsom’s details are cast into the back of the badges .

At that time almost all keyrings for the world’s cars were made in England – it was quite an industry.

In all our years of dealing with vintage keyrings we had never seen any of these keyrings before – all we knew was that they related to Toyota and possibly to Land Cruiser.

Luckily a friend drives a classic Land Cruiser and he confirms that these badges are associated with Toyota Land Cruiser.

The badges contain a form of Japanese writing known as Katakana and spells the 3 characters ‘To’, ‘Yo’ and ‘Ta ‘- which means ‘TOYOTA’ .

These keyrings are original & correct for any 1970s or slightly earlier Toyota Land Cruiser ( or any later Land Cruiser ! ) and are rare survivors of the keyrings which were produced for use with the vehicles at the time.
