Toyota – original 1960s vitreous enamel on gilt badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

An original Toyota keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1960s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

This original Toyota Motor vitreous enamel on gilt keyfob badge is in excellent condition and we have remounted it onto a new keyfob in black saddlery hide .

In the 1960s the vitreous enamel was generally still individually hand laid – which can be seen to good effect in this badge . No two badges ever turned out exactly the same .

The gilt plating is still bright – usually over the years this will have mellowed to give an ‘ antique gold ‘ effect .

Whilst this badge is original and correct for early Toyota vehicles – this keyring with this badge would look good and be a conversation piece if used in a modern Toyota

In the 1960s & 1970s almost all keyrings & keyfob badges for the world’s cars were made in England by many different manufacturers – it was quite an industry.

The badge on this keyring will be original & correct for 1960s or early 1970s Toyota Land Cruiser, Sports 800, Celica or Crown
