Toyota – vitreous enamel badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob

A new vitreous enamel Toyota keyfob badge which will have been produced in Birmingham within the last few years which we have mounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .

This is not an original vintage badge – it will have been produced just a few years ago and is not to be confused with an original vintage badge from the 1970s – this badge will have been made much later.

We are currently listing a keyring with a similar badge but in red vitreous enamel which is an original badge from the 1970s made by Melsom Products Ltd ( unless now sold )

The blue vitreous enamel badge mounted onto this keyring in this listing will not have been made by Melsom Products Ltd as it will have been made much later and is not an original keyfob badge .

We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer  – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

Superb quality ‘old school’ vitreous enamel badges like this one were produced in Birmingham  – probably from the original  badge dies – and were available up until quite recently .

We have remounted the badge onto a new leather keyfob in tan saddlery hide- blue badges always look so impressive mounted onto a tan leather keyfob .

Sadly vitreous enamel badges like this one are apparently no longer produced in England .

This badge looks almost identical to the original keyfob badges which were produced  in the 1970s – but this badge was produced much later .

New reproduction badges will now usually be produced in modern resin based enamel – not vitreous enamel like this one  – and are most unlikely to have been produced in England.
