Triumph 1300 - original vintage 1960s Trend keyring

An original Triumph 1300 keyring which will have been produced in the 1960s .

What a superb keyring !

Around 50 years old and still in almost mint condition .

The vitreous enamel badge is as shiny as the day it was fired and is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine full grain black leather which is also in really excellent condition .

The reverse of the badge has a spider within it’s web !

We have seen this design before on keyfob badges from the time ( including a gilt plated Triumph 1300 badge remounted onto a new leather keyfob currently listed unless now sold ) but do not know who the maker of the badges was – almost certainly a small badgemaker in the Birmingham area – there were dozens of them in the 1960s.

The reverse of the leather keyfob is marked ‘ TREND – Real Leather ‘ – the keyring manufacturer was TREND – once again we do see keyrings with this maker’s name on but have never discovered who they actually were .

This keyring will be original & correct for use with 1965 -1970 Triumph 1300.
