1 in stock
An original Triumph motorcycle keyring which we would think will have been produced in the early 1970s .
Just this one example to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .
An original Triumph motorcycle keyring dating from the early 1970s which is in very good condition as can be seen in the photos .
All that needs mentioning is that the little loop of faux leather which retains the badge onto the keyfob has some slight wear with it being the most prominent part of the keyring which is at a higher level than the rest of the keyring – not particularly important but best mentioned and can be seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos .
The cobalt blue vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a keyfob in black faux leather .
Keyrings produced a few years later than this one would probably have ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ together with the leather symbol embossed in gold on the back of the faux leather keyfob ( which is not leather at all) – – but this keyfob in faux leather is not stamped with that emboss.
Keyrings like this one were used on open motorcycles in all weathers but very few will have survived intact over the last 45 – 50 years- keyrings like this one are relatively scarce items and this one is an example of one of the types of keyring which were actually being used on the bikes at the time – in the early 1970s there were many thousands of classic Triumph bikes still in daily use on the roads .
The cobalt blue ‘drop’ badge ( like a drop of liquid ) mounted onto this keyfob is the badge which we all associate with Triumph motorcycle keyrings of the 1960s & 1970s.
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
