Triumph motorcycle - original vintage new old stock late 1950s / early 1960s AE Wassell keyring with red leather keyfob - collector's item

An original vintage Triumph motorcycle keyring which will have been produced in the late 1950s or early 1960s.

Just this one keyring to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This keyring is an important historical item and is in new old stock condition having been in storage for almost 60 years .

We have previously listed just three similar keyrings to this one over the last 10 years and do currently have just one other one with a dark tan leather keyfob listed in the website shop ( unless now sold )

These keyrings were made by AE Wassell of Birmingham at the time.

Wassells specialised in motorcycle keyrings but by the mid 1960s they had disappeared like many other small badgemakers at that time.

The badge on this keyring is in nickel plate with cobalt blue vitreous enamelling and condition is superb.

The badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine red leather .

The keyfob is in a thin gauge of leather   – which is befitting of a light keyring intended for use on a motorcycle and the leather is in a high gloss finish ( which looks rather plasticky – but is actually leather )  This is probably waterproof to a degree for use on an open motorcycle in all weathers.

This keyring is original & correct for use with any early late 1950s or 1960s Triumph motorcycle – but in truth is rather too good to use unless use is restricted to fine Sunday afternoons only !
