An original vintage Triumph keyring which will have been produced in the 1960s 

When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

We have just this one example of this rare original Triumph keyring to offer.

It will date from the 1960s and is in excellent condition.

The vitreous enamel on gilt badge is bonded to a chrome plated shield baseplate which is in turn mounted onto a keyfob in white vinyl material.

In the 1960s vinyl was a relatively new material and was not just a leather substitute – it was actually regarded as rather ‘cool’ and a keyring like this was considered to be very fashionable.

Keyrings for cars did not come into general use until the very late 1950s/ early 1960s and very few original keyrings were produced specifically for TR3 & TR4 .

In that case owners would probably have been using keyrings simply with a badge with the Triumph logo on like this one – and Triumph keyrings produced at the time are very scarce.

This keyring is original & correct for use with any 1960s Triumph motor car including TR3 & TR4 – of which there were many thousands in daily use on the roads at that time and in need of keyrings.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive.
