It is difficult to date these new old stock Triumph TR keyrings.
They are original old stock items which were probably made sometime in the 1970s – a few years after the cars which they represent were made.
At that time plenty of those cars were still in daily use as daily drivers rather than limited use classics which is their status nowadays.
I drove a TR4 as my daily driver back in the early 1970s.
Keyrings for TR2, TR3 & TR4 ( and Austin Healey 100/6 & 3000 ) were difficult to get hold of when the cars were first built.
Very few keyrings specifically for these models were made as witness the very few original examples which we ever come across today.
In that case an enterprising manufacturer may have spotted the demand and plugged the gap in the 1970s with these keyrings- used examples of which we have occasionally seen.
These are brand new old stock keyrings with a beautifully executed genuine vitreous enamel badge – not the usual resin ‘enamelled’ badges available today.
The chrome plating is first rate heavy chrome .
The badges are mounted onto black faux leather keyfobs.
The keyring which you receive will be exactly as the keyrings in the photos.
When they have all been sold then this listing will cancel.
