NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered
An original Triumph keyfob badge which will have been produced in the late 1950s which we have remounted onto a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos .
We have just this one keyring with this badge to offer – when it has been sold this listing will be cancelled .
This original vitreous enamel badge is in excellent condition with translucent red and solid black enamel .
Both the enamel and the nickel plating are in superb condition for a 60 + year old badge .
The badge was produced by Freeline of Bristol at the time – their details are marked on the back of the badge .
Having said that – these very distinctive shield shaped keyfob badges were originally produced by Simons Concessionaires of London and it would appear that Freeline had taken over their badge dies when Simons closed .
We have remounted this badge onto a new keyfob in black saddlery hide and the badge would be original & correct for use with 1953 – 1955 TR2 and 1955 -1961 TR3 .
Keyrings for cars only just started to become available from the mid to late 1950s onwards -so the owner of a TR2 or early TR3 would have bought a keyring to use with their car a few years after the car was built .
The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive . SMOSOÂ 00/55Â Â 12/24
