TVR - original vintage 1980s/1990s bulldog keyring in used condition

An original TVR keyring which will have been produced in the 1980s.

When this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

This is the keyring which all TVR enthusiasts search for and is only the 4th example which we have ever offered over the last 10 years – they very rarely appear.

Examples of these keyrings very occasionally turn up on internet auction sites and are fiercely contested when they do – even though they are almost always in a damaged condition.

Occasionally the badges do turn up without the original leather keyfob – but are almost always damaged- the keyrings tended to be used in anger in the cars rather than living a cosseted life hidden in a drawer !

This keyring is in well used condition – it has had a life .

The nickel plated vitreous enamel badge has scratches & dings which can be seen in the enlarged high resolution listing photos .

Viewed at life size with the naked eye it does look quite reasonable .

The badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine black leather which is in serviceable condition but is well worn in like a comfortable pair of shoes .

The back of the keyfob is gold embossed ‘TOP GRAIN LEATHER’ – but this is so worn as to be almost un-readable .

Over the last few years the tide has turned ……………..customers always sought mint perfection but many now prefer a keyring which has patina like this one .

The keyring was made in the 1980s by Manhattan Windsor of Birmingham – their details are cast into the back of the badge. Sadly Manhattan Windsor closed for business some years ago.
