Vauxhall – original mid to late 1950s keyring with vitreous enamel badge

Original Vauxhall keyrings which will have been produced in the mid to late 1950s .

We have 4 of these keyrings to offer – when all 4 keyrings have been sold this listing will be cancelled .

These keyrings are in excellent condition with vitreous enamel badges .

The badges are quite small measuring just over 0.75″ ( 21mm) in diameter .

Applying firm pressure to the latch allows it to spring open from it’s keep to allow an ignition key or keys to be fitted .

Made in England and marked as such – you can just see this underneath one side of the keep .

Keyrings like these were produced in the mid to late 1950s just as car keyrings with leather keyfobs started to appear .

As we all know – the keyrings with leather keyfobs soon dominated the market and keyrings like these ceased to be produced………a pity really because these keyrings are a nice compact size and do what they were intended to do admirably .

These keyrings are original & correct for use with any mid to late 1950s Vauxhall motor car and would have continued to be used well into the 1960s .
