1 in stock

An original Vauxhall vitreous enamel badge which will probably have been produced in the 1970s which we have inlaid into a new leather keyfob as can be seen in the photos.

Just this one keyring with this particular inlaid badge to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled.

The original vitreous enamel badge inlaid into this keyfob is in good condition apart from a small section of nickel plating being missing on the left hand edge of the badge  – this can be seen in the enlarged high resolution photos – the price of this keyring does take this into account .

Vitreous enamel badges like this one were made by Melsom Products of Birmingham UK  in the 1970s and also by several other UK manufacturers such as ‘Trend’ .

Most badges which they made would have had a metal loop on the top of the badge to allow the badge to be mounted onto a keyfob by means of a leather hinge.

Others ( like this one ) were manufactured just the same but without the metal loop and would have been intended for  inlaying into the top of a gear lever knob.

We have adapted this badge to be inlaid into the keyfob by means of bonding an oversized brass plate to the base of the badge and then laminating the baseplate within the keyfob.

No chance of the badge ever falling out of the keyfob !

The badge has then been inlaid into a keyfob in black leather .

The badge is original & correct for any 1970s Vauxhall motor car .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .
