4 in stock
We have just 4 examples of these original vintage Velocette keyrings to offer which date from the late 1950s.
These are new old stock items which have been in store for over 50 years.
Made by the well known Birmingham badgemaking firm of AE Wassell although their name does not appear on the back of the badges – which was a common exclusion.
Wassells tended to specialise in making keyrings for British motorcycle manufacturers – and their products were proudly exported all over the world wherever the bikes were sold.
The badges are in vitreous enamel on chrome plate and are in mint condition and are mounted onto faux leather black keyfobs.
Imitation leather was usual at that time for motorcycle keyfobs – genuine leather keyfobs tended to get rather soggy when used on an open motorcycle in wet weather.
Original & correct for any late 1950s to 1971 Velocette motorcycle including MSS and then Viper to 1968 . Also Venom & Thruxton up to February 1971 when the Veloce works closed.
John from North Lincolnshire – who is a well respected and well known authority on all matters Velocette – has inspected these keyrings with interest in our workshop.
True to form he hasn’t actually bought one for his own use !
He thinks that the Velocette club did have some stock of these original keyrings in the past but hasn’t seen any for some time.
It may well be that these are the last 4 which will ever be sold as we haven’t seen any others either in the last 10 years or so.
When all 4 keyrings have been sold then this listing will cancel.
