Velocette – original vintage late 1950s keyring by Sculthorp of London with tan pigskin leather keyfob – collector’s item

NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold but has been left on view as a rare example of an original Velocette Sculthorp keyring .

An original Velocette keyring which will have been produced in the late 1950s.

An original Velocette keyring in really excellent condition – this keyring is well over 60 years old !

The nickel plated vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a keyfob in genuine tan pigskin leather .

Pigskin was ( and is ) a most upmarket material and rarely used for keyfobs apart from occasional keyrings commissioned by the likes of Aston Martin & Jaguar .

The keyring was made by Sculthorp & Co Ltd of London who specialised in producing keyrings for motorcycles in the 1950s and early 1960s – their details are cast into the back of the badge.

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive .

You are buying an item of Velocette motorcycling history which could be one of very few keyrings like this one  ( if any ) left still in this condition . SMOSO  00/55  10/25
