Original Vintage & Restored Leather Keyrings for Classic Cars & Motorcycles

Vincent - original vintage 1980s? keyring with a vitreous enamel badge

NOW SOLD – sorry this keyring has now been sold and can no longer be ordered but has been left on view as a rare example of a Vincent keyring .

An original Vincent keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1980s.

Just this one example to offer – when this keyring has been sold this listing will be cancelled .

An original Vincent motorcycle keyring which we would think will have been produced in the 1980s – or possibly even the 1990s .

This keyring is in excellent condition and can hardly have been used .

The vitreous enamel badge is mounted onto a keyfob in faux black leather .

Keyrings with genuine vitreous enamel badges have not been produced for some time and even though this keyring does have a good quality vitreous enamel badge we would class the keyring as being a ‘budget keyring ‘ .

Vincents were never produced in large numbers and manufacturers of high quality motorcycle keyrings in the 1960s ( CUD, Sculthorp, AEW & Melsom Products etc ) probably felt the market was not big enough to warrant producing a Vincent keyring .

For some reason the manufacturer of this keyring ( almost certainly based in Birmingham ) decided to produce a few keyrings at a much later stage long after the bikes themselves were no longer likely to be in daily use on the road .

This one British manufacturer made a few Vincent keyrings – we have seen just 2 or 3 examples of these over the years and this keyring is the latest one which we have received .

Vincent was established in 1928 and continued until sadly closing down in 1955 .

Motorcycle keyrings did not come into general use until the late 1950s & early 1960s – so far as we are aware keyrings were not actually produced for use with Vincent motorcycles whilst they were still in production .

The keyring in the photos is the actual one which you will receive. SMOSO   59/94   08/23
